About
Michelle Elizabeth Oxx is the founder and president of The Oxx Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease and fostering trauma-informed care within communities. Drawing on 25 years of experience as an educator, Michelle has a deep understanding of how knowledge, empathy, and inclusion can transform lives. Her ability to combine research-based strategies with compassionate leadership has shaped The Oxx Foundation into a trusted resource for families, professionals, and community partners.
Under Michelle’s leadership, the Foundation has launched impactful programs, hosted large-scale community events, and developed educational resources that connect families, equip professionals, and ensure individuals feel seen, supported, and valued. She is a skilled advocate and public speaker, using her platform to amplify underrepresented voices and inspire collective action.
Michelle’s work is guided by the belief that change begins with awareness and grows through connection. She is committed to creating inclusive spaces where people can learn, heal, and thrive—together.
Our MISSION is to empower hope and healing by raising funds for Parkinson's research while transforming educational environments through trauma-informed practices. We are dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and fostering resilient, compassionate communities for children by educating schools and parents on the critical impact of trauma-informed care.
