About
Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) is the designated care management organization for Ocean County, providing free and confidential Wraparound care management services to youth up to the age of 21. OPC works with youth and their families experiencing a wide array of crises, including mental health (suicide risk/attempts, self-injury, depression, anxiety, trauma, etc.) behavioral health, substance use, legal involvement, developmental and intellectual needs, and school concerns (truancy, child study team involvement, bullying). OPC works with youth experiencing homelessness, human/sex trafficking, child welfare involvement, severe and persistent mental illness, hospitalization, eating disorders, immigration challenges, and cultural trauma, to name just a few things our Care Managers are helping families navigate. OPC has an average daily census of just over 1,000 youth, and has been providing strength-based, individualized treatment and dedicated care to the community since 2005. In addition to the care management services, by which a Care Managers creates a child-family team for each referred youth to develop plans and link to appropriate services, OPC also hosts a series of free youth support groups throughout the year - open to all youth in Ocean County. OPC "envisions a totally accessible, individualized, family friendly system of care for youth and their families- one that offers the highest quality supports with unconditional care and sustainable success."
